Pro Musica Singers is a small choir committed to providing an expressive choral space for adult musical education, personal fulfilment and cultural contribution.
We are energetic, vibrant and caring community of singers, who can claim to be integral to the cultural life of Brisbane, having continually flourished since the 1950s. Originating within the Music Department of The University of Queensland, where the focus was on sacred and secular a cappella Renaissance music, the choir has evolved to embrace other genres which reflect both choral versatility and musical currency.
The Pro Musica Singers repertoire includes Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Contemporary music. We perform regularly at both public and private events. Please contact us for information on how to book the choir for your next event.
We also welcome new members. Please contact us for more details on how to join.
